Zombies for real.......

So what is in new Pharmacy/ Health Land news? Nothing too much more than normal. Medicine and Health are making drastic changes everyday. We all know that.
I've recently took up a short contract at a local hospital because they desperately needed the help so that has been fun. Even got to hang out with the Pharmacy Board on the past Tuesday. The smell of a 797 clean room is a smell I have missed! Haha.

I've seen in the news and I'm sure you all have as well that this drug from Russia has made it over to the states. Even my state of Ohio has reports of it on its streets. Apparently from a streamline from New York......

It comes with many nicknames that even sound almost as crazy as the drug itself!! The "Zombie" drug aka Krokodil. It has flesh-eating affects after each use or should I say abuse. Apparently the effects of the drug are much more intense to the other deteriorating menace to our communities as in heroin, plus it is cheaper than heroin. It is such an intense overload to the body's nervous system and it literally makes a person feel and act like a Zombie. This drug literally kills the person from the inside out and that is not a saying, it is a fact. People know this and still use the drug. They lose limbs and still use until their dead. Studies have shown that Krokodil causes serious damage to the veins and soft tissue infections, rapidly followed by gangrene and necrosis.

Mental health is just now becoming a concern to everyone because of the latest travesties which is sad but the streets are their war. Its their battleground. I don't and probably will never truly understand why someone would want to do heroin and on top of that the thought of Krokodil, especially knowing the consequences. They get sucked in and those things don't matter. They are lost with no medical treatment or help so they basically slowly kill themselves. Our minds make all of us addicts of something. I have quite a few things. Coffee....bread...chocolate. But my mind tells me when its too much. I know if I eat too much, I will get fat. I need to exercise. Drug addicts don't have really anything to work with. They get sucked in the drug world and stuck their unless they get the right help. Half the time, even mental health medical intervention isn't enough. Some survive, but most don't.

So as medical and health changes rapidly grow, so does the damaging effects of what they do as well. We are in the business on how we can live longer and cure diseases with such medical technology advancements, the government creates drugs for anti-terrorism  that spills on our streets and then ALL that knowledge can be twisted to given our world something harmful. To give us something us that we will pay for and be addicted to. Another person making money. Another person addicted. Our Medical Advancements comes with cures and mockery.

Time has passed by: 1) eating glue
                               2) huffing paint
                               3) snorting bath salts
                               4) abuse of prescription medication heroin
                               5) Krokodil.

Just a thought: The past couple years, the entertainment world has made a lot of movies and TV shows lately on Zombies........maybe this crap has been here longer than we thought?

"You can have freedom of speech and opinion, just can't have it in social media."

"You can have freedom of speech and opinion, just can't have it in social media." Sadly this isn't a joke. I'm flabbergasted. A few blogs have been removed due to a requirement that was not one of my own. Along with some social media postings.

We live in a world now where our government is shut down, the rich get richer (and apparently get away with whatever they want) and the middle and low income class gets hurt the worse.

Not everything is all about money though. Its about having a voice. Standing up for what you believe in even though there maybe thousands of people against you. You follow your heart. You follow your facts and you just go with it. I don't live in the social media world with transparency. I think you are providing the public unjust information about yourself when you do. We all make mistakes. Its impossible to be perfect. Its just unfair to be a liar to the people that may look up to you if you provide false information so I don't play like that. Maybe that is why I suck at business? Don't know...don't care.

I never had this feeling when I sat down to blog about something and have to question everything I write. Is this something that is going to come back and bite me in the ass again or not? Even though I provide a disclaimer before every blog I write on here that SHOULD protect me, some people have found a way around it. Scare tactics and threats and defamation of character is pretty much what I have been dealing with. I know that not everyone will agree with my opinion but that is the point of an opinion. Some people just think its a key to threaten a lawsuit.

I will continue to blog about medications, and new pharmaceutical marketed products, nutrapharmaceuticals, as well as health and fitness. Do not ask me about MLM companies for which I will not reply. I always been just about products and ONLY about the products....not the business of it.

I honestly want to vent like crazy right now but I can't. I have permanent duck-tape on my mouth about a certain subject that can't come out anymore. Why? Because I'm being compliant. My family is going through way too much right now to have to deal with something I think is ignorant. I will say this though. Those of you that visit my blog and other social media sites to try to dig some information about me, go screw yourself. My husband is battling cancer at the age of today with it being his birthday of 35 and its already hard enough to explain that to our five young children. So back off. Have some common decency.

To companies out there looking for reviews on their products and high advertising please reach out to me. I have helped a lot of clients so far and would love to do the same for you. Plus if you have any medication questions that you would like to know more about, ask away! Either submit your contact information below, or send requests to monicadiannejohnson@gmail.com referencing what your need is.

What is Tocotrienols?

A couple days ago, I put this as a status update on my personal Facebook page:

"I question everything. It's my nature. Whether it's my kids, their school, my family...my friends and even my work. I don't take "because I said so" as a final answer. I don't just look for the answer.....I find the correct answer. I get all the facts. I find all the evidence. It's what I am natured to do. Hate me if you want. But the point still remains I have the truth, I know the truth, and guess what? I can prove the truth. Don't be a follower because it's obviously seen. No one can hide from a mask of uncertainty. Not even me and that is why there has never been transparency with what I do or say. If you haven't figured that out yet by now of me. Here is your lesson of the day."

Whether you look at it as a lesson or not, this a huge description on why I do what I do when it comes to my work. People look at MLM companies as a way to have a career and an income. I look at them and their products and find a way to change the health for others. America is overweight and malnourished. We all know this. Only a handful of people are looking to change it or then there are those that look for that quick fix. There are no quick fixes people. There are things out to help but you have to do the work.

I'm proud of myself for being able to help as many people as I have and I won't ever stop. I'm grateful for all these companies that have brought light to new products to share with the medical community. From a pharmacy standpoint, if we can change all those FDA regulated products to nutrapharmaceuticals then I would be heaven. Too many people are on too many medications and are dependent on them. They shouldn't be. There are so many healthy alternatives and I love finding them.

Drug companies every year are creating more and more products for me to hate. The upside is that so is nutrapharmaceutical companies are creating more products too. Going back to Western and Eastern medicine is where we should be. Knowing a flower can help with inflammation, gluthoniane helps with muscle repair, and if you incorporate Kale and Protein in your daily food consumption it can change your health dramatically. You are what you eat. You are what you chose to put in your body. You are what you expose yourself to when it comes to environment and you are often compared and contrasted to the people you surround yourself by.

I've come across a lot of new things that I can't wait to share. I'm waiting on the medical board to release a review my team of colleagues and I have been working on for a company called Kyani. If you would like to know more about that company, please let me know and I can connect you with a few amazing people. One in particular that I'm proud to call my friend is Scott Yamaguchi from Hawaii. You can check out him and all of the products from his website http://www.scottyamaguchi.kyanidistsite.com/index.html.  I'm not a representative or ambassador for them but I will fully vouch medically for their products. Just waiting, like I said to release my review. A small summary on what it is on is one of their products in particular. Created by Dr. Tan, Plus the TV Doctor OZ, had recommended Tocotrienols as the #1 miracle supplement of the year. My team and I have found that Tocotrienols help change the serotonin levels in the brain and helps slow down the synapses in the brain for cognitive development and help those that are suffering from any sensory processing disorder. The Tocotrienols are found in the Kyani Sunset.

Although this product helps with other things as well, I thought to push to see what the power of the tocotrienols would do in a brain of someone with Autism. Since my daughter is Autistic: finding things, healthy things and all natural substances to add to her diet is a high priority on my list. Even the creator Dr. Tan didn't even think to look at this in this way and I know he is eager for the full report as well.

"Tocotrienols"

Tocotrienols and Tocopherols

"Several studies have shown that Tocopherols, particularly Alpha-Tocopherols, interfere with the health benefits of Tocotrienols. In one study, six groups of chickens were given varying levels of Tocopherols in addition to Tocotrienols. The chickens that were given little or no Tocopherols had the greatest reduction of lipids. The chickens given higher levels of Tocopherols actually increased cholesterol production. Additional studies have shown that Tocopherols interfere with cholesterol levels, absorption, and anti-carcinogenic properties.
Tocopherols have also been said to…
  • Block absorption
  • Compromise cholesterol reduction
  • Attenuate cancer inhibition
  • Induce tocotrienol breakdown/catabolism
  • Increase cholesterol in high doses
The annatto bush, an oily plant that grows in South America, is the only natural compound in the world that offers pure Tocotrienols without the accompanying Tocopherols. Furthermore, annatto Tocotrienol has the highest Tocotrienol concentrations with 150 – 300 times fewer Tocopherols than rice and palm sources. Only Kyäni Sunset™ contains annatto Tocotrienols, offering the most health benefits."

All of the above information is found on Kyani's website that are surrounded by the "", but I wanted to show you their breakdown and meaning of the product specifically when it comes to the Tocotrienols.

In case some of you are wondering why I would speak about a product that I don't promote in the MLM industries that I am in, then you didn't get what I meant when I started this blog. I research EVERYTHING. If something grabs my attention and I can see a bigger purpose for it, I want to share with my readers. Being in the MLM industry myself, I get to see a lot of new products and learn about how they are created and their why's. I'm not about business here. I'm about giving you information that you may not know on products you maybe looking for. If there is chance to get you off of a routine FDA guideline medication to get on an all-natural product instead then I'm definitely doing my job right.
I believe this product can make a huge difference in the Autism community as well as the SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder) community. I can't wait to release the official review from the Medical Board.

If you haven't already, subscribe to my blog postings. You can also communicate and reach out to me via my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Life-Dosing-Drugs/199629780106700

I appreciate you taking the time to read today and remember I'm always here for questions. Plus if there are questions or you want me to write about a medication or anything healthcare/nutrition related: Please notify me! I've done a few for those that needed a breakdown on things and it is what I am here for! :)

Also, I had a conversation with another company today about another product to look at for Autism and SPD. I'm excited to begin my studies on that as well and of course I will share the information!

One of my school projects/ Health Care and IT

Since I am back in school and my classes pretty round out really what my blog is about, I might as well share my recent paper with you all. May give some insight on how the Health Care industry is under construction in more ways than one. So it maybe boring but here ya go! PS. I got an A. Ha.

Technology Article

Health care is constantly changing all over the world. Some places even have more advance modules and equipment that haven’t even yet made it to the states. One of the constants thought that have been underway is the changes on the technology of the use of certain computer software that is being used pretty much everywhere that provide health care services. The question is, has these advancements created an easier workflow atmosphere for medical professionals or has it hindered certain elements of patient care?

As noted in my introduction on the changes, or should I mention the quick changes that are taking place in the Health Care Fields all around is creating turmoil. Price pressures on the industry will get worse as health care budgets tighten, the emphasis will continue shifting to cost-effectiveness, and generic competition will increase. I see a response to that of the industry to be focusing less on community physicians and more on payers and key accounts. Basically looking at the Health Care system as a whole of what makes them the most money.

In my workplace I have felt this affect my department as well as watching affect others. Budgets are tightened to make sure that the departments that are already doing well financially will get certain programs as well as equipment while the other departments have to sit back and have things and people taken away.

Health-system pharmacist experience critical issues when it comes to the needs of patients and they are increasing, along with health care budgets are stretched thin and technology has the potential to significantly decrease the staff necessary to process medications for dispensing. This all in itself now aligns pharmacists to take over two roles: quality assurance of the medication dispensing process and direct accountability for patients’ drug therapy outcomes. One of the things that have helped over the past to help this issue is the transition of new health care programs that include sections for Pharmaceutical application to be used in conjunction with every medical professional in need to review a patient profile to help in the diagnosis and treatment for them.

After coming across an article that specified on federal loan fund programs operating through local nonprofits that can help make these promises to health care IT (Information Technology) becomes a reality for most health care workers. With anything, there has to be a large scale investment to help determine what would be the best method and what would be the usage dependent on the scale of the facility and practice. In this article it does mention the federal government has issued loan funding programs for this nature. I found this quote interesting in my reading, “Health care IT development has multiple aspects, but it is fundamentally a problem of community infrastructure development (Molly Joel Coye, 2003).

Everyone seems to be in agreement that IT is an influential method of use for all medical professionals but it seems to either be dependent on how large your pockets are or if you qualify for these forms of government programs even though the government believes that everyone should be using them. I use many pharmacy applications as well as other medical applications on a daily basis to help prevent medical errors along with keep track of my employees. I don’t see how I could do my job today with them. It is definitely sad to hear that not everyone has the opportunity to integrate these types of programs in their practice. I truly believe that these methods help saving many lives that we as humans that come with errors, we need assistance of these formats. I really hope one day that everyone will access to this structure and now reading this article, I am definitely thankful that so far in my career I have been lucky enough to work with them.

Still Sitting...Still Waiting....Still praying my heart out........

Well I guess I can give you an update from the last blog. It isn't much of anything at all. Joe completed his PET scan on Monday and today we literally are just sitting by our phones waiting. No matter how many times we call his doctor's office, they say they have the results but can't tell us until the doctor reads them and he has been overwhelmed with patients today. I get it. The guy is a doctor and he has to do his job...but us sitting here losing our minds on what can or could happen is beyond torture. So needless to say, "Sit..Wait..Pray.." is still underway.

When people go through hard times like this, the best thing to do is to be surrounded by the people you love and care about... True Friends and Family. It seems like over the past 10 days since we started this whole process of testing for Joe and learning the cancer is back, we have been really truly realizing what people actually care and who are pretending. Especially after getting a phone call from a drunken old friend of ours establishing that people that we thought were really good if not best friends are really just a bunch of liars, drama starters and they don't give a shit about whatever outcome we will have to go through. I should just delete them off my Facebook. We are already avoiding their calls. We don't need people pretending to give a shit when they are just going to go back to be around bad people and joke around about us and tell lies about how Joe and I are as people. Friends don't do that shit and I really hope that they read this. My message to them is that You suck. Your sick in the head. You chose to support a liar and cheater and think that they are some how better people than Joe and I even though that we have been around longer than they have. So in other words...Go to Hell.

I'm writing now not just downgrade but because of right now it is the only thing that is keeping my mind off of staring at my phone. I want to know the results of the tests they did on my husband but then again I don't want to know. Either way I can't function.

I do want to share with everyone that has been following this story about my family and that have been praying for us, I greatly appreciate you all. Its nice to know that there are still good people out there that care. Even strangers. I beg of you all if you can to continue your prayers until we hear something. I of course will share any news I get....whether bad or good. Plus I will take any advice that you may all to provide that some did on the last blog.

Today has pretty much been going in slow motion. Since we have been staring at our phones all day we also had an appointment to get Joe's life insurance policy started. Hell we don't even know if that will go through or not but again here we are praying that it does. No matter what happens too, our next step is to finally make our wills. Can I just say it really sucks being an adult?????

These decisions and everything we have been facing and with everything Joe and I have discussing is not something I thought we would ever had to deal with. Our love for each other has always been to share with watching our kids grow up and for us to grow old together and be happy. Life just keep throwing all this other crap our way and makes that future for us seem superficial which again....not fair at all.

Its currently 2pm EST and still no call from the Doc. Another thing that just isn't fair. FUCKING CALL ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for letting me vent. It make me feel a little better to do so when I do. I can't fix what is happening....all I can do is still is "Sit...Wait...Pray........................

Sit....Wait....Pray

Typically on this blog I try not to get too personal in regards to myself and family but when life doses you a certain way, you can't hide behind it.

With that said, for those of you that know me and the one that don't, I am married. My husband and I have been together for 15 years. We have five amazing awesome kiddos. A little less than five years ago, my husband had a mole removed from his back and it was determined as to be Fast Spreading Malignant Melanoma. I still remember the day when he went to get his stitches taken out at his doctors and that is when the doctor told him what it was and what was going to happen next. My husband, Joe, was going deer hunting after that appointment. He gave me a call before he got in the woods and told me what the doctor said. My heart sank into my stomach. As a girl working in the medical industry I knew exactly what type of cancer that was and how serious. It isn't just the process of removing a mole and then having no cancer. This skin cancer is fast spreading if not caught in time; hence the name for it. That night though my husband got a 13 point Buck. Biggest deer he has ever gotten. A horrible day but a good day.
Surgery happened not to far after receiving the diagnosis. They did a PET scan before he went back to surgery so they could see where it did spread to. So: a huge section of his back was removed from where the mole was before and on top of that they removed lymph nodes under both his arms to make sure that they got all the live cancer cells. Surgery was a success!!! We caught it in time and he was cancer free.
Here are some photos of his back. He had to get a skin graph done because of how deep they had to go.
Two days after surgery.
One year after surgery.
They removed skin from his thigh to make the back graph. So he was pretty sore after surgery but we were thankful to hear even after a year that he was still cancer free.

Well over time he has had some symptoms that would come and go and then come back even stronger so finally he said it was time to go back to the doctor for a full workup because he has been feeling like crap. The doctor agreed to do a full workup and testing. So this past Thursday at our visit with his primary care physician, the doctor ordered blood-work plus a chest x-ray, and MRI and a CT scan. The scans and tests were done on Friday at a hospital. Yesterday morning the office called first thing in the morning to share the news of all the tests. It wasn't good news to say the least.

They found some vitamin deficiencies in his blood-work so adding Vitamin D into a daily regiment along with getting B12 shots for now every month. The CT scan showed a small mass of gray matter in his brain near his ocular lobes. This explains the vertigo and headaches he has been having. The MRI showed a mass behind his abdomen. We have to wait until Tuesday, September 3rd, to have the PET scan done to see how active these cells are in his abdomen and determine what stage of cancer this is. We have to wait until October to see a neurologist which I think is dumb. They may change their tune on that date once these PET scans come back. I'm not going to lie.....I'm completely terrified. Since I work in the medical field and know what I know about this form of cancer is not helping anything. His type of cancer if it metabolizes it will 75% of the time be found in the brain and also places itself apart of the digestive system. Exactly the two spots where they found masses. Cancer sucks. Period. This cancer has not stage two or three. Just Stage 1 and stage 4. Its either you caught it in time or you don't. This is my biggest fear that it might be too late. I pray every second that we did catch it in time. All we can do now is sit and wait and pray. Lots of prayer. I'm sharing this with you all because I need your prayers too. Please pray for my husband and that this is just like before with having surgery and be cancer free again. I beg of you. Thank you.......................

If you want to read more about Malignant Melanoma and want to know some signs and symptoms, here is a good link to start with: http://ezinearticles.com/?Malignant-Melanoma---Are-Your-Symptoms-a-Sign-That-it-Has-Spread?&id=3150720

My husband and I.
All of our kiddos! :)

This is what I keep telling myself so I don't make things worse then what they are. It is not really working but I'm trying!!!

Quick Update

Sorry I haven't written anything in awhile. Been really busy working and boxing up my house for the big move. I am even preparing for another knee surgery here in a couple weeks so that is going to give me time to catch up with you all even more with my big mouth! ;)

If you noticed on my blog, one post is now missing. I was legally requested to remove it so I did so. I'm sick of battling with people and the he-said/she-said crap. Realistically though that post was up for about a few months and reached thousands so taking it down now really doesn't do anything but just make it not available on this website. I still don't get why me resigning from a company is a legal threat but it is what it is. I have kiddos and life to attend to....not this drama filled MLM crap.

We will be getting back to business and talking about what you guys need and updated on so I will be working really hard on that to provide a good service. :)

I miss writing so I'm glad I will have a chance to sit down and share some projects and some research studies I have been doing with my colleagues. Huge things are coming your way folks! Even a huge fundraiser that I hope you all will join along with me in!

Well that is a wrap for now. I wish you all a good night and those of you joining me on the East coast area, prepare for the storm that is brewing tonight! Be safe!

Until next time......XOXO

Battle of the business of healthcare.

Everyone has a stitch that they didn't want. We are all broken in different ways. Me? Well....currently really broken. Its all about finding YOUR way again. Or even a whole new direction. Nobody is perfect. This is LIFE.

This whole shamble of people literally battering one another has reached its point of end. Hell, even beyond that at this point. Wondering what I'm talking about? MLM. Its a a cutthroat business. Most people forget why they are in it or don't even care because of their pay-grade.

I want to share a story.  A true one of course. When I am mentoring, teaching, or training anyone in Pharmacy land or in the hospital at all they always hear my perception on how I take on my job. A way to get to know me and also a huge lesson.
"Whether your sweeping the floor, cleaning up puke, making and traveling with meds, or doing the most stupid, boring, tedious project ever......YOU are still apart of every patient we take care of. Their lives are dependent even in your hands. I don't' need people that think its just a job. Not thinking their spot is important. You have to understand and respect what you do and what you take from knowing and feeling all of that I promise it will be the most rewarding experience. You saved lives that day because you did your job right, on time, and no errors.  You know the purpose, so respect it. Honor it"

That story was to hopefully trigger some type of emotion. This attacking of MLM companies after another to degradable levels has just has to stop. It shows no form of integrity for what you do, the company your represent and your identity.

Yes there are thousands in the industry that are there for the $$$$. But there are even more that are in the health/fitness/nutrapharmaceuticals industry. Its a mission that they have. Maybe you are that person that just loved the product and that extra income per month was just a nice treat. Then there are those that are just truly passionate about their product, their customers/patients and the purpose that they are creating. Believe it or not in this business in particular, part of your mission whether you realize it or not that you yourself our putting yourself in the position to save someones life. There is that mission. You have something that you believe in so stand behind it. Be apart of it. Things go wrong all the time. Companies screw up. Even huge medical errors have occurred. We all know it and seen it.

This industry is yes a business. But you also need to see that this is also healthcare.

My question to you is, what is more important?

I found something for me. I found something for patients and friends and family. So here I guess is my plug for what I do. What I'm passionate about. I'm here to help even if your looking at other companies or just looking for something I may not have. I've been lucky enough to develop and studying multiple other amazing companies and would love to share even their information with you.

I'm just saying I'm all on the same side if its about the health. Knowing your purpose and your mission. Health always overcomes money. You can't enjoy that money when you dead.

Resignation Follow-Up

I guess at this point with the last blog, its going to be hard to follow up on it. There are a few things that many people have drifted from and appears that there needs to be I guess a better quality and distinction on why I shared my story in the first place.

I actually have many blogs and always enjoyed telling my personal story and sharing with others. Whether on this blog its about medicine and health or just sharing my personal life. That is a power of free speech. We can say what we want and feel. Some may agree and some may disagree as you could tell on my last posting. I have now turned on comment moderation at this point, but I didn't for the last one because I wanted the public to see what I've been confronted with since posting about my resignation from Visalus.

I'm glad to see the out pour of support is now mostly positive than negative. I have come across many security issues with my family where people are actually threatening to hurt my family though. I've had multiple people now trying to take my identity. Even as far as twitter. Which by the way, I am not on Twitter so whomever your following is not me. People like to throw up lawsuits at me; well as advised many times: I have always had a disclaimer for my blog, then there is that whole free speech thing so its not going to happen people so I'm sorry that you maybe disappointed in that. Secondly, please note if you don't already understand that taking a persons identity is a Federal Offense.

I've been in the pharmaceutical industry for over ten years. I am a wife and a mother to five amazing kids. Two are on the Autism Spectrum and one with ADHD. I may have my pharmacy sales license, but I've always just worked in Hospital Pharmacy whether surgical or trauma not Sales. My career and life will always be dedicated to helping others, saving lives, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. That will never change.

I shared my story. My opinion. Didn't think my life was so debatable. I will like to say thank you though because this Simple Mom of five is now connected with people I never thought I would be. I'm not going to lie, there are tons of companies coming to me for advice, product structure and questions on ingredients. You all made me a person that is more respected in a community, so I thank you for that.

I wrote on my Facebook today the following:
It can be scary thinking about losing everyone... But it's more scary to lose yourself. There is thinking about some things....and then there is just doing it.
I lost people whom I thought was my friends. I have been shunned from a community where I used to love and promote. I've been told directly that whether or not I find mold/bacteria in the products that Visalus wouldn't look into or even do a recall. That was what was scary for me. Nobody is perfect. Even food and medicines that just thought of contamination is pulled and recalled to PROTECT the consumers.
At this point, it will all come into the open soon. CBC, the CDC, the FDA......their hands are in Visalus now. Best of luck to those that run your businesses. I don't hate Visalus. Just learned that they are not for me. I wish those of you in Visalus the best but at least do yourself a good service. Look more into what Vi-net says or what your leaders say. You don't have to be a scientist to do a little research.
You have a right to agree and disagree. But the personal attacks is just showing lack of integrity, morals, and disrespect for the company you support and for what you personally stand for. This is not debatable. This is not a wave to send attacks. This is basically reminding you that everyone is different and believe in different things. With every product, food, medication: There will be a grey area. There is not one thing out there that is perfect for everyone.
